Historical Periodicals

Historical newspapers published in New Hampshire can be found on microfilm, at various NH Libraries. A list of available titles and their locations in New Hampshire can be searched HERE. At Pillsbury Free Library, visitors may view and print from microfilm or pdf files of the historical weekly newspaper the Kearsarge Independent and some local 20th century newspapers.

Almost 50 years of Warner area news can be found in our newspaper clipping files, thanks to volunteers, including a file of articles about the 2014 Market Basket protests. The following are also available:

  • Kearsarge Independent and Times on CD and Microfilm. Reader-printer available.
