Volunteering at the Library

The library often has projects or special events that are perfect for volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, and are fourteen or older, please contact us and we can match you up with a program, event, or project!

Volunteer for our annual Book and Bake Sale during Warner’s Fall Foliage Festival, in October each year. Sign up for sorting books in advance, setting up, selling, or packing up; whatever fits your availability. (Note: We only accept book donations the week before a sale!)

Another way to get involved is through the Pillsbury Free Library Circle of Friends. This is an informal group of library supporters who plan some events and assist with others, including baking for sales.

There are certain types of activity we cannot assign to volunteers, as outlined in Best Practices for New Hampshire Libraries – volunteers. That said, There are projects we simply cannot get to but would love to see done!
